Barbara,
I do not know if you if you read my answers to Miriam's request. There are several Spanish universities that are offering online programs in linguistics and foreign languages. For instance, Universidad de La Rioja (unirioja.es) is offering a program. La Universidad de Nacional de Educacion a Distancia (uned.es) is offering a beautiful and combined Master's/PhD program in Grammatical and Stylistic Analyses of the Spanish Language. Both university websites can be read in English or in Spanish. They are cheaper than some of the ones that we have here in the United States. It is a beautiful program. I hope to get accepted into it (I do not need to, but I felt in love with the courses, please, check it out). Here in the United States, check the website of Auburn University. They have a master's degree and a specialist degree in foreign language education. Both programs are distance-based.
If you are interested I can send you the websites.

Miriam,
Will any of the post-masters courses be available on-line (particularly
for Foreign Language Ed or Applied Linguistics)?
Thank you, Barbara
P.S. I do not know of other Post Masters programs in our area but will
let know if I learn of any.

&learning
Dear Colleagues,In response to several requests from our MA grads, we're
compiling a list of Post Masters programs in Second language teaching,
learning, and/or research- or applied linguistics. If you know of any
such programs, we'd appreciate the info on location, program title(s),
and program goals. The titles of ours at NYU are: Post Masters Advanced
Certificate in: TESOL, Foreign Language Ed, and/or Bilingual Education.
These programs are taken for various reasons- sometimes to obtain a
higher than Masters professional credential, to expande knowledge on
SLA teaching and learning- sometimes as a bridge to doctoral work. Thanks
for your input!Miriam
