Meeting Description:

The Sixth International Conference on Third Language Acquisition and
Multilingualism will be held at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy, on
10-12 September 2009 (www.unibz.it/L3conference).

Call for Papers

The aim of the conference is the discussion of topics related to a minimum of
three languages. Abstracts are invited from interested participants
for parallel
session papers and for symposia. We welcome original and previously unpublished
papers on research on acquisition or use of three or more languages.
Contributions in any language will be considered. Abstracts should be sent in
the language of presentation accompanied by an English translation, or
in English.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is January 31st, 2009

Individual papers will be assigned 25 minutes slots: 20 minutes for the
presentation and 5 minutes for questions. Themed symposia have 2 hours slots (4
papers): proposers should include the chair's name, participants' names, titles
and abstracts for the papers in their symposium after obtaining their agreement
to participate.

Please send your abstract (up to 300 words) to L3conferenceunibz.it and
indicate in a separate page the following information:

1. Title of the presentation
2. Full name and affiliation, address, e-mail address and
fax number of each author
3. Audiovisual/computer requirements
4. Language of presentation
5. If you wish to be considered for the Best Student Paper Prize
