Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture
Dedicated to Teaching and Learning in Today's Global Classroom
CALL FOR PAPERS
Join teachers, scholars and professionals from around the world to discuss "Crossing Borders and Building Bridges: A Global Program for the Future." Individual and session proposals now are being accepted for the Eighth Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture in Rome, Italy, December 3-4, 2009.
Each year this annual congress attracts nearly 100 persons from more than 25 countries. The major theme of the 2009 Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture is on developing practical applications for teaching and learning.
Proposals are welcome from all disciplines and professions on every level of education. We especially invite abstracts in the following fields and subjects:
- Arts and Humanities
- Business and Management
- Computers and the Internet
- Distance and Online Education
- English as a Second Language
- Entertainment and the Media
- Entrepreneurship
- Government and Politics
- Health and Recreation
- Language Skills
- Religion and Philosophy
- Science and Technology
- Society and Culture
- Teacher Education
All proposals must be received by June 15, 2009, for full consideration. An international panel of judges will review each submission and notices of acceptance will be sent beginning July 20, 2009.
Please send a 250-word abstract to Conference Founder/Director Bruce C. Swaffield at: brucswa at regent.edu. All those attending the Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture will be invited to submit a manuscript for the published proceedings as well as the juried online journal.
