This is what Confucius, the Chinese philosopher says, and it might as well be the mantra of the 150 students at the Confucius Institute in the University of Nairobi where are studying the Chinese language.
China has made inroads in Kenya, and the Confucius Institute, which was set up in 2005 as a collaborative effort between the Tianjin Normal University in China and the University of Nairobi, was meant ease cultural and trade ties by removing the language barrier.
