*Position Title:* Assistant Manager, SIOP
Salary: $48,380 - $68,447
*Position Classification:* Research Assistant IV
*Hours per week:* Full-time (35 hours per week)**
*Basic Functions: *Provide support functions related to the management of
SIOP Model professional development services and product-related projects.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
Assist the SIOP Model manager in
- Providing content expertise for SIOP project development
- Communicating with clients and potential clients to plan SIOP services
- Developing contracts and budgets for services
- Meeting and corresponding with project staff and consultants to plan
SIOP activities; monitoring delivery
- Developing content for SIOP outreach, including website, newsletters,
and Goldmine emails
- Reviewing facilitators’ professional development presentations and
materials
- Training SIOP facilitators
- Leading SIOP workshops and other SIOP services
- Creating and revising SIOP products
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

*Qualifications*

*Education:*

- Masters degree in education—ESL or applied linguistics
*Skills*:
- At least three years experience in facilitating SIOP workshops
- Substantial knowledge of SIOP Model and research
- At least three years K-12 teaching experience
- Experience communicating with school district administrators
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience conducting professional development for teachers and
administrators
Some travel is required.
