Education Program Specialist
The U.S. Department of Education (ED) is looking for the best and brightest to ensure equal access to education and to promote educational excellence throughout the nation. This position serves as an Education Program Specialist in the United States Department of Education. As an Education Program Specialist, you will serve on the Innovation and Improvement Team (IIT) with the Division of Adult Education and Literacy (DAEL) which is responsible for the conceptualization, design, development, implementation and evaluation of national leadership activities under the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA) known as Title II of the 1998 Workforce Investment Act (WIA).
You will provide subject matter expertise in the areas of adult learning, adult literacy development and adult language learning (particularly adult English language learning) to DAEL as well as ED staff.
