Job: English Education at the University of Incheon

The English Education Department of the University of Incheon invites applicants for a tenure-track position in the field of English Education. The job begins on March 2, 2013. The successful candidate will be one who has carried out strong research in English Education area, is capable of excellent teaching in English, and willing to collaborate in administrative works of the department. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their demonstrated potential for excellence in scholarly research and teaching.

Qualifications

·Candidates must be a non-Korean with foreign nationality, who can teach English education theory and other related subjects in English.

· Candidates must hold a Ph.D degree in education, TESOL, or a Dr. of Education degree or other equivalent academic qualifications.

. Candidates must demonstrate potential for excellence in scholarly research.

(at least two research articles published in journals of SSCI or A&HCI categories within the recent three years)

. Teaching experiences are a plus.

Terms of contract and benefits

. Residence will be partly supported financialwise.

· Terms of contract and salary will be determined on the basis of the applicant's teaching and

research careers and potentialities.

· Qualified research will be supported on a yearly basis, with special financial rewards for

a publication in journals of SSCI or A&HCI categories.

· Health insurance and pension will be provided.
