Centre for teaching Persian language starts in Muscat
In a significant step to strengthen cultural ties between Iran and Oman, a centre for teaching the Persian language has opened in Muscat, in response to the demand of the local community.
"The decision to open the centre was made in light of their historical and cultural affinities, as well as the fact that the people of the two countries are interacting more and need to know both Arabic and Persian," Iranian Ambassador Ali Akbar Sibeveih told Times of Oman.
