Job Announcement:  Full-time Permanent Position in the Department of English
Language and Literature, School of Education, Waseda University, Tokyo,
Japan

1.  Field of specialization:  Applied Linguistics (early second-language
acquisition of English, multilingual education, language instruction policy)

2.  Teaching responsibilities: (a) Courses in areas such as Elementary
English Education and Foreign Language in the Elementary School (FLES); (b)
English

3.  Positions: one (Assistant or Associate Professor)

4.  Application deadline:  documents must be received by Tuesday, March 15,
2016 

5.  Employment begins September 1, 2016 OR April 1, 2017

6.  Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent scholarly achievements
Ability to conduct classes in English
Ability to perform administrative duties in Japanese

7.  Salary, etc. In accordance with the regulations of Waseda University

d. Copy of the diploma or degree certificate for your highest-level degree
e. Finalists invited for interviews will also be required to submit two
letters of
recommendation.

March 
b. Interviews of finalists (Friday, April 29, 2016) [transportation and
accommodation costs to
be borne by the applicant]
