[Edling] REMINDER: CFP deadline Dec 5 - Conference on Language, Learning, & Culture

Dear Educational Linguists,

The CFP deadline for the 2017 Conference on Language, Learning, and Culture is a week away! Proposals for paper and poster presentations, workshops, colloquia, and panel discussions are invited until DECEMBER 5, 2016.

Our goal in focusing on teacher education this year is to involve language teachers, teacher educators, graduate students, administrators, researchers, instructional designers, language assessment specialists, and other professionals at all stages of their careers in a multidirectional sharing of expertise that will contribute to all participants' professional development.

We are especially excited about this year's plenary speakers and encourage you to visit the conference website (http://conference.viu.edu/cllc/plenaries/speakers) for more information on the content of their talks.


THEME: Enhancing and advancing teacher education: Professional identities, communities, beliefs, and practices

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE: December 5, 2016

CONFERENCE DATES: April 7-8, 2017

LOCATION: Virginia International University, 4401 Village Drive, Fairfax, VA, 22030 (just outside Washington, DC, USA)
