[Edling] New Virtual Exchange Opportunity: Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange

Dear colleagues:


For those of you who teach in Europe or the Southern Mediterranean and are interested in telecollaboration/virtual exchange, I'm emailing to share information about an opportunity to involve your classes in the Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange project.


Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange is a pilot project recently launched by the European Commission to complement its mobility actions and aims to link more students and young people from European countries and the Southern Mediterranean region. It offers several different activities including the possibility for university lecturers to set up and run a Transnational Erasmus+Virtual Exchange project (TEP) between their class and a partner class.


Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange is offering a 4-week online training course (c. 2 hours per week) for experienced telecollaboration practitioners starting at the end of May, where you can learn how to adapt your telecollaboration project to become an Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange.  Read more about the initiative in the attached document and, if you are interested in taking part, there is a short application form to completed by you and your partners.
