[Edling] Contemporary Language Teaching: Call for Submissions

*Contemporary Language Teaching* is a non-profit peer-reviewed journal
published four times a year. It publishes research studies that apply
quantitative, qualitative, or mixed method design to examine the issues
related to language learning and teaching. It is also devoted to publishing
high quality theoretical studies, meta-analyses and overviews of recent
research topics related to second or foreign language learning and
teaching. Researchers from diverse areas of applied linguistics and
language teaching are encouraged to submit their manuscripts to the
journal. The scope of the journal is intentionally broad, as it is intended
to offer an interdisciplinary platform for all those interested in language
learning and teaching.
Our editorial board includes well known scholars like Michael Byram, Sarah
Mercer, Prue Holmes, Karen Risager, Kata Csizer, and Miroslaw Pawlak have
joined our editorial board. We also have some editors from high rank
journals such as SSLLT, Intercultural Communication, System, and Language
Learning as our editorial board.
Articles submitted to the journal may draw on fields as diverse as applied
linguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, educational psychology,
intercultural communication, bilingualism and multilingualism, educational
technology, second language acquisition, and may investigate or further
develop areas such as:
Task-based language teaching and learning
Psychology of language learning
Teaching and learning language skills
Computer-assisted language learning and teaching
Classroom discourse analysis
Teaching English as an international language
Technology-assisted language learning and teaching
Language assessment
The journal will be a non-profit peer reviewed journal and we are planning
everything from the scratch to get indexed in Scopus and Thompson Reuters
(Clarivate Analytics).
