The Office of Education Research in the National Institute of Education, Singapore, is recruiting a Research Scientist / Senior Research Scientist in Teacher Professionalism and Learning: https://www.nie.edu.sg/about-us/careers/vacancies/academic-positions/research-scientist-senior-research-scientist-in-teacher-professionalism-and-learning-(office-of-education-research)  The research group would be interested in educational linguists with an interest in teacher learning.

The Office of Education Research (OER) is committed to providing the resources and support systems - through the governance, monitoring, quality assurance and dissemination of education research - that will provide high-quality education research with impact on policy and practice. OER also aims to conduct rigorous, relevant multidisciplinary research and development that inform policy, pedagogy and practice in Singapore and internationally.

With a strong focus on advancing knowledge, the Office provides researchers with valuable research opportunities and platforms to enhance their global academic profile. The Office is dedicated to their interests by providing grant opportunities such as the Education Research Funding Programme (ERFP), a pool of research funds administered by the Office and supported by the Ministry of Education, Singapore. The Office is looking for candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

*         Teacher professionalism and learning

*         Pedagogy and pedagogical adaptability

*         Different professional development models and designs

*         Teacher leadership in professional development and learning

Interested candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral experience (5 years for Senior Research Scientists), experience in relevant research and addressing challenges in education, and demonstrable track record in research leadership, grantsmanship and high quality publications.
