Dear Colleagues,
UNESCO is currently seeking input for its Futures of Education
initiatives. It is inviting public commentaries of up to 1000 words on
priorities for education. While UNESCO has been an advocate for
multilingualism in education, it is also noteworthy that language
development and multilingual education is entirely absent from the UN
Sustainable Development Goal on Quality Education (SDG 4
<https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal4>).
Anyone who would like to submit a statement to UNESCO about educational
priorities for the future can so so here:
https://en.unesco.org/futuresofeducation/get-involved/your-view-futures-education
Best,
Francis
