[Edling] Free PD for language teachers: Deadline for an online translation workshop (Oct 18th), and a webinar (on Oct 22nd)

This Fall, the Center for Educational Resources in Culture, Language and Literacy (CERCLL<http://cercll.arizona.edu>) is offering several webinars and online workshops for language educators, most of which will be 90 minutes in length (the October 30 event is longer). Participants who attend live can request a certificate of attendance for 1.5 hours of professional development for these events. Online Workshop: Designing Translation Materials for the World Language Classroom<https://cercll.arizona.edu/event/colinaalbrecht2/> presented by Sonia Colina and Sarah Albrecht (University of Arizona). The presenters will guide participants in the creation of their own lesson plans and activities for introducing translation into their multilingual language classrooms. This small, 3-hour, interactive, online workshop is capped at 15 participants. To apply to attend, click on the workshop title.
