UMBC’s Education Department is hiring an *Assistant Professor for Early
Childhood and/or Elementary Literacy* to begin in August 2024. The

UMBC offers excellent research support and mentoring for Assistant
Professors, including designated summer research funding as well as a
funded mentoring program which pays for a mentor of the UMBC faculty
member’s choosing to come to UMBC and for a reciprocal visit to the
mentor’s campus.
