Colleagues,
I’m pleased to share an experiment with an alternative form of research dissemination – short (5-min) animated videos. My colleagues Sovicheth Boun, Virak Chan, and I worked with a company called SciTube to produce a video based on our article on Multilingual Education in Cambodia which was published in Educational Linguistics(Vol. 1., No. 1). The idea is folks who are unlikely to read a 30-page academic journal article may be willing to watch a 5-minute animated video.
You can check it out at:
https://scitube.io/how-multilingual-education-helped-cambodia-boost-indigenous-student-enrolment/
Would love to hear your thoughts – positive or negative – about this form of research dissemination!
Best,
Wayne
