Subject: New Publication Announcement: Asian Americans in Bilingualism and Bilingual Education
Dear Colleagues,
Happy December!
I am delighted to share the publication of our new edited volume, Asian Americans in Bilingualism and Bilingual Education: The Long Overdue Voice<https://www.multilingual-matters.com/page/detail/asian-americans-in-bilingualism-and-bilingual-education/?SF1=work_id&ST1=CVIEW-682d9e893bdec>, published by Multilingual Matters in the Bilingual Education & Bilingualism series.
Edited by: Kh¨¢nh L¨º, Zhongfeng Tian, Alisha Nguyen, and Trish Morita-Mullaney
This is the first book fully dedicated to Asian American experiences in bilingual education, bringing together scholars across bilingual education and ethnic studies to center the voices, histories, and linguistic realities of Asian American communities. Recognizing the heterogeneity within Asian American populations, the book includes underrepresented languages such as Hmong and Khmer and spans both formal and informal education settings.
We hope this work will be a valuable resource for researchers, teacher educators, graduate students, and practitioners committed to equity and justice in bilingual and multilingual education.
You can view our short introductory video here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kkv7NXFEzfzEHDfbyvZUJTpjA7n-9W28/view?usp=sharing

Thank you for helping us share this work with colleagues, students, and communities who may find it meaningful.
In solidarity,
Zhongfeng
