We are delighted to announce the next in the 2025-26 series of online guest seminars 
here in the English section at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland -- open to all!

On Monday 16 Feb 2026 at 15:00 East European Time, Gisle Andersen (Norwegian School 
of Economics) will give a talk titled '(How) is knowledge of linguistics and 
pragmatics relevant for real-life practitioners of communication?'. The event will be 
live-streamed online with interactive Q&A after the talk. All are welcome to attend.
