The zero plural for American Indian names is something that Terry
Kaufman has been complaining about for several years, if I remember
correctly. In his publications he has eliminated it. And I have too,
through his influence (although when I say in print "The Pirahas"
instead of the "Piraha" some editors try to correct it.

Since I am new to the list, was Kaufman's name brought up at all yet?
