To everyone on the ELL:

I sent a private message to Matthew McDaniel which was intended to be, at
least partially, tongue-in-cheek as I'm sure most of you will realise.
Matthew has replied to the list, including my original _private_ message. I
am unhappy that Matthew should do this, and hope that it is simply an
oversight.

As for Matthew's posting... I have to say that I feel that every thing that
Matthew says in his posting has been dealt with before, numerous times.
