     I don't think that there is a race alive that is not "racist".

     But the point is that injustice is injustice and I am just as much
     against
     what the Chinese are doing in Tibet as what the missioaries are doing
     here,
     but I am here first.

     I have been amazed that the west activist groups have not cemented well
     enough together a strategy on this Tibet situation.

     But also, governments are disorganized (with maybe the Tibet exception)
     and
     this disorganization often allows a small group like the Akha to
     neutralize
     the effect or escape its goals, but the shear number of missions slamming
     the
     Akha this is hardly possible.

     I know of more numbers of foreigners opposing what the missions are doing
     to
     the Akha but not one Christian who does, and not one missionary who
     opposes
     what the main stream is doing.  That may be the difference.

     But when the missionaries get the rough times here I will be more than
     glad
     to point out to them that they were so refusing to compromise over the
     years
     that they deserve no sympathy now.
