ELL: Research Assistants Needed

Dear Members,

For the World Languages Survey Project (WLP/2001-2), two Research Assistants
in each dialect/language (given below) are required on contract basis for
a period of eighteen months:

Burushaski                   wlp/52
Dari                         wlp/53
Manipuri                     wlp/55
Munda                        wlp/56
Rajasthani                   wlp/57

Eligibility:

Minimum qualification needed is a Master Degree (M.A.) in Linguistics
and atleast one year's experience in Field study. Candidates having
higher qualification in Linguistics with specialization in the
dialect/language concerned and experience of conducting field studies
will be preferred.

Benefits:

A consolidated salary of USD 22,000 (per annum), besides, a field
allowance and travel charges for the field work.

The successful candidates have to join the project by 1st July, 2001.
