Dear colleagues,
the Lutzk-Halich dialect of Karaite language belonging to the Turkic family is presently spoken by a dozen of native speakers in Ukraine (towns of Lutzk and Halich are situated in Western Ukraine), Lithuania, Israel and Russia, so, is extremely endangered.
The undersigned now is working on the Russian-English-Karaite (this dialect) dictionary and Karaite (this dialect)-English-Russian dictionary. At present, I have about 6,000 and 8,000 words correspondingly. If anybody has an access to old Karaite manuscripts,
books, magazines, letters, articles, any textes in this dialect please contact me as soon as you can.
Many thanks in advance for your help
