[Vera Ferreira]

/Saved by Language /is a very interesting documentary film by Susanna 
Zaraysky and Bryan Kirschen. The documentary shows the story of how 
Moris Albahari, a young Sephardic Bosnian boy, used his ancestral mother 
tongue, Ladino, to survive the Holocaust. The project was presented at 
the Language Fair in October in Minde (Portugal) and represent an 
important step in the preservation of Ladino.
