presenting probes during text presentation

Hi,

We're trying to develop an experiment in which we use
e-prime to present longer texts (say 300+ words) sentence by
sentence. A sentence remains on the screen until the
participant presses a key, and the next sentence appears.
After particular sentences participants are asked to verify
whether a probe word was or was in the previous text.
Particularly the presentation of the probe words gets us
into trouble. Does anyone have a model experiment from which
we can copy (parts)?
