XP Compatibility

I was considering installing the latest version of e-prime (1.1) onto the computers in the lab but have been told that there may be a problem with the timing when running on Windows XP and should check first. Is anyone aware of any potential problem, i.e. is this true and if so does anyone know whether any timing problem is variable or fixed (my exp can live with the fixed).
