fORP with Eprime

Hey everyone,
We are running a brain imaging experiment, so are using a plastic button
box. The button box we're using is the fORP (fiber optic response pad) by
Current Designs. I can't get it to work with Eprime, though it is supposed
to be able to. Support hasn't been much help so far. It plugs in through
the serial port (like the SRBox). I tried it through the USB, but couldn't
get it to quite work. I was told I have to add the Serial device and then
write some script in the InLine object through E-basic. I don't really
understand the Ebasic and can't believe it would be this complicated. I
know that there are other Eprime users out there who use the fORP, so I was
wondering if you could tell me how you got it synced up with Eprime! My
experiments are prime-target RT experiment. Plugging it in and running it
through the SRBox device, the blue button is the only one that registers,
and it registers a 2. All I need is the blue button to register a 1, and
the yellow a 2. Do I need to write script? If so what?? Is it generic just
to get it set up with Eprime or is it experiment-specific? Thank you in
advance for any help you guys give me.
