inter-stimulus interval

Thanks, everyone, for your responses.  Just a couple things... First, a
few of you suggested that I use the Wait Object (I did consider doing
this at one time, but decided not to and I don't remember why!).
However, Jordan suggested that I not use it, so my question is, why?
Second, I'm rather surprised that E-Prime does not have a better
(easier) way to adjust the inter-stimulus interval, because this is a
relatively common experimental manipulation for RT studies.  Any
thoughts on this?  Thanks!!
