Executables?

Dear all, 

I have heard that one can use e-prime to generate .exe files of experiments that can then be run on any computer independent of an e-prime installation or dongle. Is this correct? If so, does anybody have experience with this? Is it relatively straightforward? Does one still get the edata aid files to look at the raw data?
