pseudorandomization

Hi,
my experiment requires pseudorandomization of stimuli based on several
criteria, which I am doing via a perl script (courtesy of my private
tech support). So far I have converted the tab seperated output into a
text files, opened them with Excel, and pasted them individually for
each block for each participant. Is there any way to automatize this
process?
