E-prime and Norton 2005

Hi.
I' am an E-Prime newbie. ( I'am undergraund student) and I wonder if
anybody could help me on the following.
I'am planning to run the E-Prime under win2K and the PC that
i'm using has an antivirus (Norton 2005).
I'd like to Know if I have to disable it to run experiments properly (
timing accuracy issues).
