some sound files chopped off before end and not others

Hi,

I am having problems with some sound files being chopped off at the
end. Here's the context: On a slide trial a picture appears, along
with an audio object (sentence describing the picture) - 2-3 seconds
long) and a text box under the picture with the sentence in writing.
Despite the fact that the sound buffer is set to one minute and a half
and that the length specification is long enough for each sound file,
some of the sentences are chopped off at the end. This occurs in 4/50
of our sentences.  I am not sure if anyone can help with this.
