feedback object - correct answer one of many

Hi,
As part of my experiment I want to present a free recall task and
provide feedback on whether the word recalled was one that was
previously presented or not. I have a list of 40 words. Do I need a
piece of script to say something like:

IF textDisplay.response = "x" or "y" or ......THEN FeedbackDisplay =
corret ELSE FeedbackDisplay = incorrect.

Your help with this would be much appreciated.
