scoring word recall

Hi,

I'm working on a serial recall experiment with words. How do I get E-
prime to ignore the other characters, like {space} that appear in the
participant's recall? As it stands now, the display echo records every
key stroke, thus making all responses incorrect because participants
include things like the space bar in their respones.

Also, does anyone know how to do serial position scoring on words? All
I have right now is an overall correct/incorrect response, and I'd
like something more sensitive than that.
