send pause tag to EEG

Hi, A very "green-handed" question: how can I send a tag of pause to EEG?
In my experiment, I am presenting several paragraphs, and I have 1-4 tags in
each sentence. Right now the experiment set up using a marker list to send
all the tags to EEG (Geodesic system). I want to add a pause object and tag
it whenever I pause. Since the pause is not in the marker list, I have no
idea how to tag it.
