Compatibility with Windows 7

So, in looking at a few options for doing this a friend suggested that
I use VMware player.  Has anyone tried this or heard about using this
particular software instead of going through the trouble to change the
bios settings and everything.  Would this actually work with the way
that EPrime works?  Thanks!
