Stopping Entered Text disappearing off screen

how much text are you talking about?
eprime's default screen resolution is only 640x480, which is *tiny*.  and
their default font size is pretty large.  if you're using both of these
defaults you may simply find there's not a lot of text you can fit all on
the screen at one time...
