Not unless you are fairly sloppy, or need to run a *lot* of inline
code in between objects. As I have said before, you would be
surprised at how much code a modern machine can run in less than 1
ms. Even then, if you know how to use PreRelease to run code during
a stimulus object then you can, say, run 5 s worth of code during a 5
s stimulus with absolutely no impact on the onset delay of the
following object. Study Chapter 3, "Critical Timing", of the User's
Guide that came with E-Prime.
But as always, do not take my word for this. You should write some
code and make some timing tests for yourself.
