E-Prime triggers for starting/stopping ActiView EEG data collection

Thanks. Of course, anybody is welcome to register for the class as
soon as we have it ready, which we hope will be soon after the New Year.
This will be a real, paid, not-for-credit course through Michigan
State University, complete with quizzes and some basic assignments
(in one of them, you even search for answers on this very Group!). I
am just now finishing writing a lesson on "Data Handling in Depth",
which is the last lesson I have to write.
We have almost 6.5 hours of video so far, and should have 7-8 hours
when done. If you do the course properly then it will take even
longer -- in the videos I guide you through a set of carefully
designed exercises, and you are supposed to follow along while
running E-Prime on your own system, pausing & restarting the video as
needed. Then you turn in your exercises so that I know that you did this :).
I think it only fair to tell this audience that the course will be
rather light on E-Basic. I do introduce E-Basic (and even local and
global variables, etc.), and use as much E-Basic as needed in the
"fMRI, EEG, and Psychophysiology" lesson, so students do get just
enough to get started. But beyond that I feel that E-Basic would
take an entire course to itself, and using E-Basic well first
requires a core understanding of E-Prime and its E-Objects, which I
hope to supply with this Introduction course.
We are still working on a web "storefront" for advertising the
course. I expect that we will annnounce all that here as soon as we
have it ready. I will also keep information of interested Group
members on file so that I can make sure to notify you when we have it ready.
Regards,
