Brief Introduction

[Stephen Griffin]

My name is Stephen Griffin and I am a new subscriber to ETHNOCOMM.  I am a 
PhD student in the Human Communication Studies program at the University 
of Denver.  My research interest is how memebrs of community organizations 
conceptulize having voice in the deliberations and dialogue that goes on 
internal and external to community organizations, as well as how they gain 
and exercise their voice in such communication events.  I utilze a mixed 
methods approach to my research which involves both quantitative 
(questionnaires) and qualitative (interviews and ethnographies) 
approaches.
