This is the third and final call for abstracts for the SCL and SPCL Cayenne 2008 conference, focusing on Amerindian and Creole languages.  
   
  Since some members have not yet received the first two call for papers, the deadline for the submission of abstracts has been extended to 29 February 2008.  
   
  Please follow the instructions carefully on the website (http://www.scl-online.net/callforpapers2008.html or http://www.scl-online.net/callforpapersfr08.html), and note that there are two options for submitting abstracts (either to this e-address or via EasyChair - http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=SCL-SPCL-2008).

The Society for Caribbean Linguistics (SCL) and the Society for Pidgin and Creole Linguistics (SPCL) will meet at the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de la Guyane in Cayenne, French Guiana from 28 to 31 July 2008. The Conference theme is Usage, application and development of the languages of the Caribbean and the Guianas.
