partible paternity

I'm trying to put together a comparative database of all lowland South American societies that believe in partible paternity (i.e., a child can have multiple biological fathers). Can anybody tell me if the cultures you have worked with have this belief? Or would you classify them as single paternity (one child-one dad)?

Estou tentando fazer um banco de dados sobre todos os povos indigenas no america do sul que creiam na ideia que uma crianca pode ter mais do que um pai biologico. Voce sabe se alguma cultura que voce conhece tem esta crenca??
