Brazilian Portuguese Internal Language Expert
Localization: Warsaw / Cracow / Poznań. Part- or full-time job,
15.07.2014-31.12.2014


Responsibilities:
•       Preparation of formal grammars for natural language.
•       Verification of language resources.
•       Close collaboration with NLP engineers.
•       Documents translation and proof-reading.
Requirements:
•       Master's degree in Portuguese linguistics (in particular Brazilian
varieties) or related fields.
•       Minimum 1 year of experience as a lexicographer, translator or
researcher.
•       Practical knowledge of formalized language grammars.
•       Quality-focus and attention to details.
•       Fluency in English.
•       Time flexibility.
Being a plus:
•       Native speaker.
•       PhD in linguistics or related fields.
•       General knowledge of computational or quantitative linguistics.
•       Practical knowledge of phonetic transcription from text and/or from
audio.
•       Basic programming skills.
•       Earlier involvement in language technology projects.


The candidate should be willing to relocate to Warsaw, Cracow or Poznan by
