Linguist/ESL Position Available

Assistant Professor in Linguistics and ESL

The Department of English at Plymouth State College invites applications
for the position of Assistant Professor in Linguistics and ESL,
beginning September 2003.  We seek a talented individual to teach
language, linguistics, ESL methods and materials and composition.  In
addition, the person selected for this position will assist in the
development of an ESL Certification Program and coordinate ESL work in
the English Department Writing Center.

Minimum Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Linguistics with a specialization in
ESL.  Experience in setting up and running an ESL certification
program.  College teaching experience.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:  Experience working with diverse
populations.  Overseas experience.
