Intention in communication

Dear netters,

It seems that my previous posting had some
ambiguities, as it is clear from some of the off list
messages I have received. I would like to rephrase and
summarize my previous message.

If we talk about intention as an indispenible part of
communication, then how can we measure it ? That is,
how would you show that someone has more intention
than another ?

Is there any quantifiable method for measuring
intention ?
