On the feminist philosophy of the organisation, much of the discussion has
revolved around organisational structure and academic approach. We should
think, however, to what extent the organisation should be committed to
political action, or, put another way, focused on *changing* the status
quo of inequality. Of course, creating an organisation that is a model of
inclusiveness is one way of beginning change. But will we take political
stands on (language and) gender issues? How will we do that?

I believe this falls under 'philosophy of the org.' but if this is under
another agenda item, moderators please save this msg for the appropriate
time.
