agenda items

Here are a few possible agenda items.  I'm not sure how much overlap there
is here with other things that people have already proposed.

 After we discuss our goals and maybe after we've ironed out philosophy and
nature of GALA, we could discuss infrastructure a bit.   Issues under this
area might include

a.  dues (which will be higher if there is a journal or proceedings, a
conference, a student prize),
b.  governing body(ies) (how they'll be elected, terms of service, how to
achieve adequate representation of the different fields of interest in
gender and language and different stages in career.)
c.   relationship between GALA and other gender and language organizations.
