Conference 2000

Well, it looks like the Stanford crowd is prepared to host the Berkeley
Women and Language Conference in the spring of 2000. Since there have been
no competing offers, we're going to start immediately looking into the
issues that require immediate consideration (such as when to have the damn
thing). All suggestions will be welcome, and any objections had better
come fast because it's already late. How's that for tentative style?
