Vote Results - Advisory Council

Hello all.  Please accept my apologies for the delay in sending up the
results of the vote regarding the advisory council -- I've been in
transit to the west coast and have only now set up my computer.

The results are as follows:

There were 37 voters in total.  Participants decided on Item A 1 and
Item B 4, i.e.,  A1, Yes, we want some kind of Advisory Council, and B4,

The Advisory Council should have some slots reserved, whether based on
scholarship, underrepresented group, or other factor to be decided if
this option is approved.


Specifics are as follows:

Item A:  Vote for 1 or 2.

1.  No Advisory Council
2.  Yes, we want some kind of Advisory Council

* Number 2 passed, 37 to 0.

Item B: As a separate issue, and supposing that there were an Advisory
Council, vote for 3 or 4.

3. Advisory Council, all slots open to anyone
4. Advisory Council with some slots reserved, whether based on
scholarship, underrepresented group, or other factor to be decided if
this option
is approved.

* Number 4 passed, 33 to 4.
